Peter would say, after a little over a year of dating, that he knew Wade pretty well. He knew his favorite foods, he knew what made him laugh, he knew just where to put his tongue when he sucked Wade's dick for maximum cursing. All the important things, you know? But when Wade propositioned him with spicing it up, Peter was...well, surprised, to say the least. Was their regular not...good enough anymore?

That train of thinking didn't last long with Peter. Once he thought about it logically, he realized if he said no, Wade would still be more than happy with what they had. And what was the harm in trying it? Besides the fact that the idea made Peter blush like a schoolgirl. So he said yes. With a few conditions.

"I don't know that I can...be the one tied up." Wade hadn't even hesitated in taking over the role of sub. He seemed eager, even, and with that in mind, Peter took to researching the idea with similar gusto. If this was something Wade really wanted, Peter wasn't going to half ass (not that he ever did, when it came to Wade. He deserved the whole damn ass).

What he found was a lot more than he expected. He came to quickly grasp the concept that yeah, it was about sex, but it was also about trust. Giving yourself over to another person so completely, and if Wade was going to do that? Peter had better show his appreciation by giving him a damn good scene.

They started small, because although Wade might have had experience, Peter almost certainly did not. A handcuff here, a buttplug there. Little things that otherwise didn't do much more to their usual sex life than make it a little different. But tonight - tonight was going to be different. Peter had finally admitted to Wade that he was ready to give it the full shot. He's a little nervous, actually, but hopefully Wade won't notice. Or at least won't mention it.

Wade was supposed to be home at 6, and it's 6:05 now. Peter, of course, knows that it was probably just the subway running late but...well, he'll mention it later. Can't have his sub being late. He's standing there in a suit he hasn't worn in...god, way too long. Probably since the last exhibition he went to where he had to actually mingle. And he's got Wade's all lined up on the bed, too.

Shit. Peter knew just what to do to make Wade go weak and slow kissing was definitely one of those things. God damn. His dick twitched a little at that. Down, boy!

Oh, God. That blush was cute as hell. Wade moaned quietly when Peter started to clean him off. It was super relaxing. He could probably fall asleep if he wasn't careful, but he blamed that on the mind-blowing sex. "Peter!" He laughed, getting embarrassed. "That's exactly how I feel about you, baby boy."

Peter was never really an intense person, so this had been a foray into the unusual for him. He was a pizza and making out on the couch kind of guy, but it was fun to step out of his comfort zone and share something really special with Wade.

"Well I'm glad we're on the same page," Peter smiled, slowly starting to lick Wade clean, with the aide of the washcloth. Gentle circles followed by slow passes of his tongue. Little Wade (or rather, not so little) had been through a lot and deserved to be thoroughly taken care of.

Fortunately, Wade was all about pizza and making out too. He cherished every moment he got with his boyfriend, especially when they were doing little things like just snuggling and talking in the middle of the night or laughing about something stupid on television. Those were the moments he lived for. So even if Peter didn't do intense much, he did pretty damn good this time. Especially since Wade could barely move now.

Wade moaned softly again, simultaneously turned on and comforted by Peter's ministrations. "Mm. That feels really good, Pete," he said, his hand slipping into Peter's hair and stroking gently.

Peter liked that, he liked their little routine. Their little slice of heaven they'd carved, their normality, even with all the craziness around them. A little intensity spiced it up every once in a while, but Peter didn't need that to keep on loving Wade just as much as he did. And if it satisfied Wade to the point of some well deserved rest, well. Peter wasn't complaining.

"Yeah baby. Tastes good too." Peter smiled, kissing Wade's balls lightly as he worked his way all the way down Wade's shaft.

Of course, Wade liked that too. He only had that kind of routine with one other person and even then, he wasn't as happy as he was now. Peter was everything he needed, even if that admission was terrifying.

Wade groaned at that. Jesus christ. The things Peter said. He was completely slack now. It felt like every bone in his body was mush. Yet his dick still twitched valiantly from the attention. If he focused on it too much, he would definitely get hard. Peter had that effect on him. So he tried to focus instead of how comfortable he was and how much he appreciated Peter's aftercare. It wasn't Peter's fault that Wade was literally a bunny.

But the terror was worth the payoff, at least to Peter. Loving Wade as much as he did, after everything he'd been through...it was difficult, to say the least. To open himself up like that again. But he did, and god, he didn't regret it for a single second.

Peter finished with a soft hum, resting his cheek against Wade's thigh. They'd deal with the plug later, after Wade got a good snuggle in. Peter had a bottle of bubble soap and a bath bomb with Wade's name on it. Yeah, picking 'bunny' hadn't been an accident. Cute, lent itself to the pink theme, and Wade was just as lovable and hyperactive.

"I love you," Peter whispered, kissing his way up Wade's body. He slipped his shirt off, then shucked off the pants, surrounding Wade with warm, skin-on-skin contact. "Sometimes I look at you and I just can't believe you're mine."

It was completely and utterly worth it for Wade too. The fact that Peter was willing to open up to Wade like that meant everything to him and he'd be damned if he squandered this opportunity to actually, legitimately be happy.

Jesus. Yup. Peter knew just how to help Wade relax. Wade stroked Peter's hair in appreciation.

"I love you too," he said, heart full and content. The kisses made him feel so relaxed and cared for. He was practically purring by the time Peter pressed against him. That really got Wade. Sometimes Peter said these things that just shot him right through the heart and this was one of those moments. His hand reached to cup Peter's face, his eyes full of warmth and love. "I feel the exact same way about you, baby boy. I feel so lucky."

Peter knew, in his heart of hearts, that Wade was it for him. There was no growing apart, there was only growing together, and who even knew how long that would last? Wade was immortal, but Peter had come to terms with the dangers of his job and the practicality of living past thirty. Plus, he had no idea how the bite worked. Had it changed him forever? What had it done to his growth? He didn't feel like he'd changed at all in the past year, physically. So many what ifs, but Peter just knew Wade was meant to be there for all of them.

Peter pressed a careful kiss to Wade's chin, peppering them over his skin before landing on his lips. "I know you do. And I want you to know that it absolutely goes both ways, baby, I'm so in love with you it hurts."

No matter where the path ahead took them, Wade would hold Peter's hand tight and walk that path with him. He would do his damnedest to make sure that Peter lived until he was old and gray. No matter how many bullets he took for the love of his life. And yes, he would be there for every single what if and they would get through whatever it was together and be stronger for it in the end.

Now that took his breath away. How lucky was he really? To be able to love someone so freaking much that all you could do was think about them 24/7 and have that returned. Wade felt like he was dreaming. "Same, baby boy. More than words could ever say. Let me tell you," he chuckled a little. They were so mushy. Wade loved it. He grinned and nuzzled his nose against Peter's. This perfect boy. The one thing in his life that actually went good for him.

Peter couldn't even think about being old and gray. Too much wishful thinking would only hurt him in the end, and Wade or not, Peter was still Spiderman. Hell, the bite could end up killing him! Peter knew next to nothing about his own condition. If he thinks about it too hard, it kind of freaks him out. But yes, they were together and staying that way, presumably forever.

All that pain, and suffering, and it had led them both to each other. Sometimes Peter looks back at his life, guiltily, and wonders if he'd really change any of it if it meant losing Wade. Peter stole a kiss from Wade's lips, squeezing the arm around him. "Do you want your bath now or later, baby?"

Well, they would figure that out if it ever happened. Wade would exhaust every resource possible to keep Peter safe. But more than anything though, Wade was here for the entire ride: good or bad. So regardless of what was ahead of them, he was in it for the long haul and he would fight for Peter as long as he lived -- forever.

There was never a doubt that Wade would go through every little bit of his life over and over again if it always meant that he'd come back to Peter. Even Weapon X. He would accept his scars gladly if that was how he could make it back to Peter.

Wade went silent, deeply contemplating that question. Did he want to move? He knew that if he did move, it would be purely so he could relax and if he was lucky, he could rope Peter into getting into tub with him so they could continue this snugglefest. Yup. That was what he wanted. "Yes? Now would actually be good. Though I might fall asleep. Or at least nod off."

Contemplating the idea of eventually leaving Wade alone on this earth was enough to bring Peter to tears, so he really just...didn't think about it. He'd shed too many tears already. A lifetime's worth.

Peter wondered about Wade, without scars. Unburdened, with that megawatt smile that could get the panties off a lamp. Peter imagined Wade was the kind of attractive you'd never expect to go for the skinny nerd - beyond that, sometimes Peter thought if Wade thought a little more of himself, he could definitely do better than Peter. Of course, Wade wouldn't even entertain those thoughts, so Peter kept them to himself.

"Even better. I want you to relax, you've had a long night," Peter smiled, kissing the corner of Wade's mouth and sliding up, off the bed. "You stay put, let me get the bath ready?"

And that was exactly why Wade never brought that topic up to Peter. He would deal with it when the time came. It would tear him apart, but at the same time, any amount of time that Wade was lucky enough to spend with Peter made his life worth it. So yeah, for the most part life was brief and Wade would have to watch the people most important to him pass, but that made him appreciate the frailty of life that much more. He just wished he would be able to follow Peter. He didn't want to be separated.

There was no better than Peter. Wade knew that Peter was made for him. So there was no better match than the one he was snuggled up to right then. And honestly, he could say the same about Peter. His boyfriend didn't realize just how attractive he was and Wade, likewise, thought Peter could do better than him. They were quite the pair.

"Am I going to be able to talk you into getting in with me?" Wade waggled his eyebrows. He could dream. He smiled at the kiss, comforted by the sweet gesture. "Alright, baby boy. I think I can definitely do that because I haven't gained feeling back in my legs yet anyway," he joked.

So many things were out of their control, to be beaten by that - Peter didn't handle that sort of thing well. Could Wade be happy again, with Peter gone? Was that a possibility for him? Peter wanted to say yes, but he...honestly wasn't sure. Call him a little full of himself, but Peter didn't think he'd ever experience anything like this again, ever, why would Wade's experience be different?

Ridiculously humble, that's what they were. Well, and the self-loathing, but that was another problem altogether.

"Hm, probably not. But a kiss goes a long way." Peter teased, leaning down to steal another one from Wade's mouth. He wiggled his fingers goodbye, heading into the bathroom to start Wade's bath.

Honestly? Only time would tell. Wade would most likely feel empty forever because the most important part of himself was missing. But he would try his best because he would know that that was what Peter would want for him. So he would have to appreciate that he was lucky enough to find his other half in his lifetime. It honestly was something that had kept him up at night when they were first together. He would sit up in bed next to a sleeping Peter, trying his best to memorize his boyfriend while he could. Wade had a hard time staying happy because he always assumed the bottom would drop out eventually.

No, Wade would never find someone that completed him like Peter did. So when Peter was gone... Wade would be a shell of who he was before.

Wade tried to prolong the kiss, but Peter was already off to the bathroom before he could tempt his lover. Dammit! "Well, fuck, Pete! You don't want to snuggle in the bubbles?" he tried.

Hopefully - although Peter doesn't say this with much hope at all - that was all a long ways off for them. A long, long ways off, although with their line of work...Peter isn't going to say it again. They both know.

"There have to be bubbles before you can snuggle in them!" Peter called back evenly. He poured the bubbles into the bath, watching them froth as he checked the bath temperature. Yes, good. Time to mix in the salts.

It was better not to think of it. All they could do was appreciate the time that they had, even if it ended up being less than they hoped.

"This is true!" Wade said back, snuggling deeper into the bed. Fuck. He was comfortable. But oh man was he stoked about this bath. He was so ready to relax. Peter was so good to him. He was constantly doing things for Wade that no one else had ever done. It always stunned him. Now wasn't any different.

When the bath was finally ready, full to the brim with bubbles and swirling with colorful salts, Peter made his way back out to Wade. He wasted no time, looping his arms under Wade's legs and picking him up easily, bridal style. "Your bath awaits, baby." Peter grinned, eyebrows rising at Wade. Like he was going to make his bunny get up.

Wade squeaked in a very unmanly manner when Peter swept him up. "Oh, I do declare, Mr. Parka~! I am a lady of great virtue and you are manhandling me!" Wade said in his best southern belle impression. He was actually incredibly grateful (because he didn't know if he could've made it to the tub on these jello legs) and also incredibly turned on by Peter's gesture. Peter's strength did things to him, man. Every. Time. "Please keep on manhandling me, Pete. I like it," he grinned, arms curling around Peter's neck. "Thank you, baby boy."

"Virtue, you say?" Peter raised an eyebrow, hand moving down pointedly to touch the plug still nestled between Wade's asscheeks. "Is it really manhandling if you're a lady of great virtue?" Not that Wade wasn't thoroughly deflowered by Peter by now.

"Of course, Wade," Peter kissed his cheek, getting to the tub. The fur couldn't really go in the water, so Peter sat Wade on the edge of the tub, carefully. They'd have to take it out before putting him in the bath.

Wade gave another little squeak when Peter touched the plug. His poor hole throbbed for a moment with pleasure. Jesus christ, Wade, get your shit together! "Ahh... fuck virtue. Keep manhandling me. Yes," Wade said, leaning up to kiss Peter's chin.

Oh jesus christ. That was going to be a flood. Did Peter have an ark built? Because this was going to get biblical real quick. But Wade was currently unaware of Peter's intentions, so he looked up at his lover and kissed him deeply. "Thank you, baby boy."

God, Wade, you can't make noises like that and expect Peter not to want to fuck the living shit out of you. He cleared his throat, kissing Wade's temple.

Yeah, Peter had come pretty hard. And deep. They might have to let gravity do some of the work. "Anytime, Wade," Peter assured him gently, smoothing a hand down Wade's back. "Let's get this plug out of you, baby, so you can relax."

It was unintentional! And that was kind of what Wade was usually shooting for anyway. What? He couldn't get enough of Peter.

Wade's eyes widened. "Be gentle with me, Petey. I'm still super sensitive," he admitted. Having the plug in for that long made his body dance the line of pleasure and pain. Fuck, it felt good though. "Have at it, hot stuff."

"Of course I will," Peter assured, kneeling in front of Wade. He pulled him gently against his chest, rubbing his hands lightly down Wade's back. Loosen up the muscles and get Wade nice and relaxed before he even brushed the plug. "Going to go nice and slow, Wade, nice and easy for you."

Wade practically melted into Peter's embrace, his head resting against his lover's shoulder. Peter always treated him so good. His muscles relaxed under Peter's touch. He nodded at his lover's words. "Okay. You're so good to me, baby boy." Even if he didn't feel like he deserved Peter's love and affection, he still savored every moment.
